About Me

I am a fully qualified, BACP registered psychodynamic psychotherapist and counsellor. Additionally, I hold a BSc in Psychology. I have a passion to support people who are going through a difficult phase in their lives or who simply want to gain more self-awareness and get more from what life has to offer.

I have experience working in the private and charity sector, NHS and independent counselling organisations, with adults as well as young people. As a therapist, it is my priority to offer a confidential, safe and warm space where you feel comfortable to bring anything that feels important to you. I aim to work with you collaboratively to explore your thoughts and feelings freely and overcome your struggles through this process.

Living in several countries and coming across many cultures made me a culturally competent practitioner who understands the difficulties of adapting to new environments and situations and how culture impacts the way our identities are shaped. I can support you through these transitions. I welcome clients from all backgrounds, genders, nationalities and sexual orientations.

I deliver counselling both in English and Turkish and can offer in-person and online sessions.

Experience

I have a broad range of experience working with including but not limited to anxiety, stress, panic, work-related problems, depression, anger, feeling sad, loneliness, low self-esteem and confidence problems. I help clients who experienced domestic violence, sexual, physical and/or emotional abuse. I appreciate that relationships have great value for us. I have extensive experience supporting individuals with relationships – family, friends or romantic. Loss and bereavement are subjects I have extensively studied and worked with throughout my training and clinical practice, and I can support clients struggling with any type of loss.
