About Me
I am a Clinical (Neuro) Psychologist with experience of working both in the NHS and the private sector. I have held the position of Head of Psychology and the lead consultant psychologist in the affective disorder’s unit, Maudsley Hospital and West London Mental Health Trust. I am current on the clinical Board for a London based clinic.
I work with a range of anxiety and mood disorders, with particular specialism in assessing and treating neurodevelopmental disorders, namely ADHD and Autism. I also carry out neuropsychological and psychometric assessments for work and education.
I have studied at the Institute of Psychiatry where I obtained a Doctor of Philosophy and MSc in Neuroscience. I completed by Doctorate in Clinical Psychology at the University of London, and continued my clinical research in Neuropsychology and neurodevelopmental conditions.
I am trained in various psychological approaches and have particular expertise with working with ADHD and Autism Spectrum Disorders. As a practitioner I am mindful of the importance of understanding and providing individualised and tailored psychological approaches to individuals that experience their own challenges in day to day life.
I am trained in various psychological approaches including: EMDR, Schema focussed therapy, clinical hypnotherapy, adapted and specialised psychological approaches for ADHD and ASC.
I am registered with the HCPC, a chartered psychologist and member of the British Psychological society, the British Neuroscience Association and a member of the Expert Witness Association.
